<p>The applicator (6) has a frame (14) mounted with application casters (18, 20) of a flexible section (8). Two stems (36) release the application casters when a force applied on the application casters is higher than a predetermined value and is exerted on the frame. The application casters are arranged at a distance from each other, where rotation axes of the application casters are formed parallel to each other. A handle (16) is movably mounted on the frame, and the stems are arranged between the handle and the application casters that cooperate with sides of the flexible section. An independent claim is also included for a method for applying a flexible section on a longitudinal support.</p> |
