PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which can use a line of regular structure as a transmission line between a camera and a control unit by providing the camera converting a received light signal into a video signal and a sub-unit of a circuit guaranteeing a substantially constant rate of digital data outputted by an analysis processor. SOLUTION: The camera 1 is composed of an analysis processor 2, a video memory area 3, a compression circuit 4, a buffer memory 5, a reconstitution circuit 6, a modulator 7 and an adjusting circuit 8. Data outputted by the analysis processor 2 is digital video data. The analysis processor 2, the video memory area 3, the compression circuit 4, the buffer memory 5, the reconstitution circuit 6 and the modulator 7 are arranged in series. The sub-unit composed of the video memory area 3, the compression circuit 4, the buffer memory 5, and the adjusting circuit 8 constitutes a system guaranteeing a constant rate of digital data outputted by the processor 2. |
