This gasket (4) is provided with the following: a flexible sealing section (42) that has a concave part (43) that is attached to a coupling on a plunger rod; and a core section (41) that is harder than the sealing section (42). The inner surface of the concave part (43) is provided with a female thread section (413) into which a male thread section provided on the outer surface of the coupling can be threaded. The core section (41) has a helical shape that defines the inner surface of the concave part (43) and the female thread section (413) provided thereon. The sealing section (42) covers the outer surface of the core section (41) and defines a sliding surface that contacts the inner surface of a barrel.
