The present invention relates to a flame detector for a burner capable of easily installing the combustion unit of a burner inside the combustion room of a combustion apparatus by mounting a flame rod inside a burner. The flame detector according to the present invention has a plurality of inflow holes (2b) for combustion air on a side cylinder portion (21). Regarding a flame detector installed inside a port-type oil burner which supplies fuel from a combustion spray inflow hole (2a) on a basal portion into a burner port, the insulator unit (3b) of the flame rod inserted into the center of the burner port has a gap for supplying a small amount of combustion air to the inside of the burner port through an insertion hole for the flame rod. |
