A fitting for pipes intended to contain a pressurised fluid, comprising a receptacle (1) having a threaded orifice (2), intended to cooperate with an adjusting nut (8), of said fitting, said receptacle (1) forming a recess (4) into which are inserted a seal (5), a compression washer (6) and a clawed slotted ring (7) of said fitting, intended to have the pipe pass through them. According to the invention, said clawed slotted ring (7) is greater in diameter than said threaded orifice (2) and said threaded orifice (2) of said receptacle (1) comprises a circular groove (3) in which said clawed slotted ring (7) is held captive, the latter holding said compression washer (6) and said seal (5) in the recess (4) of said receptacle (1) so that they are unable to leave said receptacle (1) when said adjusting nut (8) is completely removed from said receptacle (1). |
