<p>The device (1) has an electronic card (6) or an analogous substrate carrying electronic components (6', 6'') of a sensor or detector and mounted in a tubular box that is completely embedded in an insulating filler material i.e. resin. A mechanical unit positions and wedges the card in the box along a median plane (PM). A portion of mechanical unit is integrated in a plug (5), and consists of a portion of a groove or slot that accommodates an end of the card to hold the card in the wedged condition. The plug comprises a passage opening for passing a connecting cable (4). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a sensor or detector device.</p> |
