PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus capable of reducing the overhead for notifying modulation information of other users included in individual control information in multiuser MIMO mode.SOLUTION: The radio communication apparatus includes: a pilot sequence assignment section that assigns a pilot sequence number which is used for performing space multiplex streams based on a piece of modulation information of space multiplex streams for plural other end radio communication apparatuses for performing multiuser MIMO transmission; a first modulation information generation section that generates a piece of modulation information and a piece of pilot sequence assignment number information relevant to a first space multiplex stream designated to a first other end radio communication apparatus in the plural other end radio communication apparatuses; and a second modulation information generation section that generates a piece of modulation information relevant to the space multiplex streams designated to the other end radio communication apparatuses excluding the first other end radio communication apparatus in order of the pilot sequence number assigned to the space multiplex streams designated to the other end radio communication apparatuses excluding the first other end radio communication apparatus. The modulation information and the pilot sequence assignment number information generated by the first modulation information generation section and the second modulation information generation section are notified to the first other end radio communication apparatus.
