<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a shake correction camera in a conventional technique, operation of shake correction immediately finishes when the shake correction is finished, making a user uncomfortable when the user views a finder image, and a time lag when release is operated is changed due to variation in time required to center a shake correction optical system almost to the center right before exposure.SOLUTION: When shake correction is finished, the shake correction is continued for a predetermined time. Thereafter, while gain of the shake correction is decreased with time, a shake correction optical system is anchored almost in the center. When exposure takes place, exposure start timing is specified from a mounted camera body. The shake correction optical system before the exposure is centered according to the exposure start timing.</p> |
