PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric speaker utilizing the excellent resonance characteristics maximally, when a voltage is applied.SOLUTION: In a piezoelectric speaker consisting of a piezoelectric laminate 11 where an oriented film layer composed of polylactic acid and a conductive layer are laminated alternately, and a diaphragm 12, (i) the piezoelectric laminate 11 is laminated so that one of the conductive layers adjacent to each other via the oriented film is short-circuited to the negative electrode while the other is short-circuited to the positive electrode, and when a current is fed, the oriented film sandwiched by the conductive layers expands and contracts in the same direction, and (ii) the piezoelectric laminate 11 has two parallel surfaces parallel with the plane direction of the oriented film layer, and an end face held therebetween, and the diaphragm 12 is vibrated by a part of the end face. |
