PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard engine that realizes downsizing effectually and effectively.SOLUTION: An outboard engine main body is rotatably connected and supported to a swivel bracket 16 through a pilot shaft 21. An upper steering bracket 24 for transmitting steering force to the pilot shaft 21 is formed of a plastic material. The pilot shaft 21 is formed of a plastic material and adhesively connected to the upper steering bracket 24. Corresponding to upper and lower bearings for the pilot shaft 21 of the swivel bracket 16, metallic bushes 28 and 29 are adhesively-connected to the pilot shaft 21 respectively. |
