PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device that accurately detects actual temperatures of switching elements.SOLUTION: When an ECU 12 is powered on, a temperature correction value computation section 71 detects currents flowing through FETs 51-56 and terminal voltages of the FETs 51-56 to detect on resistances of the FETs 51-56. The temperature correction value computation section 71 estimates temperatures of the FETs 51-56 from the on resistances of the FETs 51-56 and temperature-on-resistance characteristics of the FETs 51-56. The temperature correction value computation section 71 computes temperature correction values K1-K6 on the basis of the estimated temperatures of the FETs 51-56 and temperature detection values by thermistors 61-66. An actual temperature computation section 72 computes actual temperatures of the FETs 51-56 by the use of the temperature detection values by the thermistors 61-66 and the corresponding temperature correction values K1-K6. |
