PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, for baked pencil lead, improvement of the writing density tends to decrease the flexural strength and provide a baked pencil lead which breaks the inverse correlation between flexural strength and density by suppressing decrease of the flexural strength while acquiring high writing density for improvement of the performance of a baked pencil lead.SOLUTION: A baked pencil lead is obtained by blending at least graphite and a synthetic resin together and kneading, forming and heat-treating the resultant blend, and at least a metal compound in which an organic molecular chain containing unsaturated bonds is bonded covalently to a metal atom is blended additionally. |
