The present invention relates to a slider damping device with an improved hook wherein a hook is segmented into a stator and a mover to allow the mover to be inserted and drawn against an external pressure so that, even if the hook is located at any position of a casing, a lock lever is inserted into the hook, thereby being conveniently installed, providing the compact outer appearance by removing concave and convex portions on the outside to improve the merchantability, preventing foreign matters from entering the concave and convex slide space to avoid the occurrence of failures in advance, and reducing the number of parts and the number of assembling processes to improve the productivity. According to the present invention, the slider damping device includes: a case fixed to a fixing body such as a door frame of a sliding door and having a guide groove guiding the movements of a hook and a damper accommodating portion formed thereon; a damper accommodated into the damper accommodating portion of the case; the hook mounted on the front end of a rod of the damper to insert a lock lever fixed to a slider such as the sliding door thereinto; and a tension spring whose one end is fixed to the rod of the damper and the other end is fixed to the case, wherein the hook includes a stator fixed to the rod of the damper and a mover elastically supported to the stator to be inserted and drawn by an elastic member, the mover having a locking protrusion formed on one side thereof to prevent the escape from the stator, and the stator having a stop protrusion formed to correspond to the locking protrusion. |
