PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent instillation capable of inhibiting dry spot development and inhibiting dry spot enlargement.SOLUTION: Provided is an instillation which contains at least one selected from acid mucopolysaccharide such as sodium chondroitin sulfate or hyaluronate sodium, and hydroxyethyl cellulose, methylcellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyvinyl alcohol or carboxymethyl cellulose or a salt thereof, being characterized by having 15-300 mPa s viscosity at 20°C. Furthermore, incorporation of at least one selected from menthol, borneol and camphor in this instillation improves its effects.
