PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wear detection system, a transmitter, a tire and a wheel in which wear of a tire can be detected without requiring battery replacement operation.SOLUTION: In a wear detection system 100 which comprises a transmitter 1 that transmits repetitively a signal based on a wear situation of a tread of a tire 4, and a receiver 2 that receives the signal transmitted by the transmitter 1 and detects the wear situation of the tire 4 from the signal, the transmitter 1 comprises an electric power generation part which generates electric power by receiving force generated through running of a vehicle 3, a wiring which supplies the generated electric power, and a transmitting part which transmits a signal with the electric power received from the wiring; and the receiver 2 comprises a reception part which receives the signal from the transmitting part, a reception determination part which determines whether the reception part has received the signal or not, a timing part which counts the time during which determination of no signal received has continued, a time determination part which determines whether the time counted by the timing part is not less than a predetermined time or not, and a notification part which notifies the outside when the time determination part determines as not less than the predetermined time. |
