PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored resin composition that includes a xanthene compound producing a high luminance pixel, to provide a colored resin composition that produces a high luminance pixel, and to provide a high-quality color filter, a high-quality liquid crystal display device and a high-quality organic EL display device.SOLUTION: A colored resin composition includes, (A) a dye, (B) a solvent and (C) a binder, and the dye (A) contains a xanthene compound represented by a specific structural formula.
