PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel agent for treatments of peripheral arterial disease including severe limb ischemia in acute and chronic severe limb ischemia, Buerger's disease and diabetes.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a peripheral arterial disease therapeutic agent including a neural stem cell. The neural stem cell is preferred to be a pluripotent neuroepithelial cell derived from human adult, and is preferred to be immortalized by incorporation of a temperature-sensitive oncogene. For the oncogene, c-mycER and the like are preferred. The neural stem cell is preferred to be provided in a condition being suspended in a composition containing Trolox, Na, K, Ca, mg, ClHPOHEPES, lactobionate, sucrose, mannitol, glucose, dextran 40, adenosine and glutathione. The therapeutic agent is useful also for treatments of peripheral arterial disease associated with diabetes such as limb ischemia, Buerger's disease, and the like. |
