PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of the whole device by minimizing power consumption of an oscillator which generates carrier, in a wireless transmitter performing wireless transmission by generating a pulse modulation signal corresponding to an input signal, and superposing a carrier on that modulation signal.SOLUTION: A modulator 10 of dual pulse position modulation system generating two pulse signals having an interval, dependent on the signal level of an input signal Sin, for each constant time frame is used, and an on/off control oscillator 30 generating a carrier, being operated with a pulse signal outputted from the modulator 10 and stopping operation when the pulse signal is not inputted, is used. As a result, power consumption of a wireless transmitter can be reduced by oscillation stop of the oscillator 30, and since the oscillator 30 oscillates only twice for each constant time frame, power consumption of a wireless transmitter can be made constant. |
