PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode material retainer which allows location of an anode material at a position separated from a structure in arranging the anode material in the structure and thereby prevents contact of the anode material with a metal material even when a part of the metal material embedded in the structure is exposed in the surface of the structure.SOLUTION: An anode retainer is used to hold an anode material for electric protection at a position separated from a structure embedded with a metal material in arranging the anode material in the structure and includes one housing part or a plurality of housing parts arranged at intervals which house the anode material partially so that at least a part of the area of the anode material to be housed in the housing part(s) is held at a position separated from the housing part(s).
