The present invention relates to a guide roller used for a manufacturing facility for a tire cord and a method for manufacturing the guide roller, comprising a step of determining the design of a guide roller and making and exporting a design drawing according to the design; a step of selecting a machining process corresponding to the shape of the guide roller; a step of selecting tools for carrying out the machining process and making a database on the tools; a step of producing a processing instruction file process for the guide roller; a step of processing the processing instruction file process produced in the previous step using a CNC data multi-processor; a first processing step for finishing the processing of the standard shape of a steel roller; a second processing step for thermally processing the steel roller finished in the previous step through a thermal processing operation; and a third processing step for finishing a groove (210) and a bearing part (220) of the steel roller using a CNC machining tool. |
