A method of treating type II diabetes mellitus comprising administering to a patient in need thereof between 5 mg and 250 mg of Compound I, wherein Compound I has the formula or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; in combination with between 125 mg and 2550 mg of metformin or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
