FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of applying coatings, namely wear-resistant protective coatings on instruments, such as cutters, cutting plates, cast moulds and similar instruments. A coating of a composition AINbX, where X represents N, C, B, CN, BN, CBN, NO, CO, BO, CNO, BNO, CNCO, is applied by condensation from a vapour phase. As an aluminium-containing component of a target used is an aluminium powder, mixed with zirconium in an amount from 10 to 50 at.% counted per aluminium, and a relative content of niobium in the target constitutes less than 40 at.%.EFFECT: high tribochemical and mechanical properties of the coating are provided.12 cl, 6 dwg |
