PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest pressed down without deforming a seat back in non-use to secure rear visibility, and easily raised in use to bring the headrest into a use state.SOLUTION: A headrest body 2 is formed in a shape having a front hanging part 5 contacting the front side of an upper part of a seat back when having descended near the descent end. The headrest body 2 is tiltably attached to upper parts of stays 3 through base members 4 and a ratchet mechanism 10. In non-use of a headrest 1, when the headrest 1 is pressed down to the seat back, the inside of the front hanging part 5 of the headrest body 2 comes into contact with the front side of the upper part of the seat back; the headrest body 2 tilts forward; and the headrest body 2 is locked in a tilt position by the operation of the ratchet mechanism 10. |
