PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle headlamp which sets the chromaticity of a light distribution pattern within a white color range following regulations, and a projection lens.SOLUTION: In a vehicle headlamp having a projection lens 26B1 arranged on an optical axis AX2 extending to a vehicle fore-and-aft direction, and including a light emission face, a light incident face, and a reference point opposing the light incident face, and a light source 28B arranged at the reference point and emitting white light, the vehicle headlamp is set as a light source which emits the white light formed of a mixture color of at least first color light and second color light, in which the white light progressing to an optical axial direction is relatively large in a ratio of the first color light, and the white light progressing to a direction in which an angle with respect to the optical axis is lager is relatively large in a ratio of the second color light. The projection lens controls light whose light incident position is a first position on the optical axis to approximate a direction not parallel with the optical axis, controls light whose light incident position is a second position remote from the optical axis to approximate a direction parallel with the optical axis, and controls light whose light incident position is located between the first position and the second position to gradually approximate a direction parallel with the optical axis as progressing to the second position from the first position. |
