PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic motor allowed to be downsized.SOLUTION: A hydraulic motor comprises: at least one auxiliary valve 186 for controlling supply of working fluid to at least one operation chamber 24 independently of a plurality of high pressure valves 28; and a plurality of valve blocks 38 which are fixed in a housing 23 and to which the plurality of high pressure valves and a plurality of low pressure valves 30 are respectively attached. The at least one auxiliary valve has a passage cross section area smaller than that of the plurality of high pressure valves, the at least one auxiliary valve is attached to at least one valve block, the valve block includes a valve block high-pressure passage 42 for supplying working fluid to an operation chamber in the inside of the valve block, and the valve block high-pressure passage includes a main stream part on which the high pressure valve is arranged and a bypass part which is arranged in parallel with the main stream part and on which the auxiliary valve is arranged so as to bypass the high pressure valve.
