PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire sealant and a method for preparing the same.SOLUTION: The tire sealant comprises: a solvent of 35 to 95%; a PVA gel of 0.05 to 10%; blocked particles of 0.01 to 5%; and an additive of 0.1 to 10%. Further, the tire sealant may comprise a chitosan gel of 0.01 to 5%. The method in this invention comprise: a step S1 of dissolving polymer material particles, and controlling precipitation to form a suspended gel material in a liquid medium; a step S2 of adding an additive to the liquid medium; a step S3 of adding blocked particles to the liquid medium including the suspended gel material. When the tire sealant and the method for preparing the same are used, puncture formed by a spike with a diameter of 6.35 mm or lower can be sealed. Further, the broken hole can be repaired at -40 to 70°C, and the sealing time may be maintained over 48 hour. |
