PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to determine a battery capacity only by voltage check which is usually used for detection of the lifetime of a battery.SOLUTION: An automatic teller machine includes: an electric power unit which supplies power into the machine; a battery which supplies power into the machine instead of the electric power unit; a storage part which stores determination information to determine an operating time of the battery; and a controller which controls them. In switching from the electric power unit to the battery, the determination information records an operating time of the battery associated with a reaching time from switching until reaching a prescribed voltage value or a prescribed time when the voltage value of the battery has reached the prescribe voltage value or when the prescribed time has elapsed from switching. In switching from the electric power unit to the battery, the controller measures the reaching time or the prescribed time, compares it with the determination information and acquires the operating time of the battery. |
