PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent only a central part of a pressure roller from expanding in raising temperature of a nip part, thereby preventing a recording sheet from being wrinkled.SOLUTION: A fixing apparatus 100 includes a rotating body, a first heater configured to heat the rotating body, a pressure roller 140 configured to form the nip part with the rotating body, and a second heater H2 configured to heat the pressure roller 140. The second heater H2 includes a first heat generating unit 211A which heats the central part of the pressure roller 140, and a second heat generating unit 211B which heats ends of the pressure roller 140. A heating value per unit area to be transmitted from the second heat generating unit 211B to a surface of the end of the pressure roller 140 is configured to be larger than a heating value per unit area to be transmitted from the first heat generating unit 211A to a surface of the central part of the pressure roller 140. |
