PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration piece excellent in impact resistance and capable of preventing occurrence of vibration leakage.SOLUTION: As a vibration piece, a tuning-fork type vibration piece 1 comprises: a base part 14 formed in a plane including a first axis and a second axis orthogonal to the first axis; a connection part 20 which extends in a direction of the first axis from the base part 14 and is thinner than the base part 14; and vibration arms 11, 12 and 13 which extend in the direction of the first axis from an end portion 20a of the connection part 20 and are as thick as the connection part 20. The vibration arms 11, 12 and 13 vibrate along a direction orthogonal to the plane in a flexural manner, and the connection part 20 is provided in such a manner that a length L2 of the connection part 20 in the direction of the first axis and a length L1 of the vibration arms 11, 12 and 13 in the direction of the first axis satisfy a relation of L1/15≤L2≤L1. |
