PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable measurement by preventing a relative movement between a probe and a finger and preventing a halt of a blood flow caused by compression of a finger, in the probe of a pulse oximeter attached to the finger.SOLUTION: In an integrated type pulse oximeter comprising a housing 1 of a light emitting part side and a housing 2 of a light receiving part side, a lower side recessed part 2R for accommodating a finger of a subject is formed on an upper surface of the housing 2 of a light receiving part side, and ribs 5 extending in a longitudinal direction of the recessed part are provided in the recessed part. The ribs 5 are respectively positioned symmetrically on either side of a light receiving part PD placed between the ribs and in a central part of the recessed part 2R. In measurement, the finger is pressed against the surface of the recessed part 2R by the housing 1 of a light emitting part side which is pressed by a spring and is held inside the recessed part 2R as the ribs 5 slightly get into a skin of the finger. Consequently, a relative movement between the recessed part 2R and the finger FG is prevented, and a halt of a blood flow never occurs because of a reduced contact pressure at a part of the finger facing the light receiving part PD.
|
