<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a webbing winding device capable of preventing or reducing pressing a storing part for a lock pawl onto a closed part by a lock pawl in a state where the lock pawl is meshed with ratchet teeth on a ratchet hole of a frame.SOLUTION: In the webbing winding device 10, a notched part 134 is formed on a closing part 132 closing a pawl storing groove 96 from the opposite side of a spool body. Therefore, the closing part 132 is not formed on a position opposing to the second and succeeding ratchet teeth 122 from the pull-out direction side. Thereby, even if a head part 104 of lock pawl 80, particularly the winding direction side, is displaced away from the spool main body 24, the head part 104 does not contact to the closing part 132 or, even though the head part 104 contacts to the closing part 132, the pressing force of the head part 104 onto the closing part 132 is reduced.</p> |
