PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generation device of an accurate Japanese-Chinese parallel translation dictionary capable of easily clearing the problem of right relation and easily expanding the dictionary.SOLUTION: A parallel translation generation device 30 generates a Japanese-Chinese parallel translation dictionary from a Japanese-Chinese patent parallel translation document set 32, and includes: a technical term extraction part 70 which extracts technical terms only with Kanji from a Japanese document of the patent parallel translation document set 32; a replacement processing part 72 which, for each of the extracted technical terms, replaces each of Kanjis constituting the technical terms by corresponding simplified characters and thereby to output the converted simplified character strings; and a collation processing part 74 which collates each of the simplified character strings with a Chinese document in the patent parallel translation document set 32, and when each of the simplified character strings exists in the Chinese document, collects the simplified character string and its original Japanese technical terms, and outputs them as a first parallel translation set 34.
