<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coke oven operation method which makes constant the temperature in the oven height direction of a combustion chamber.SOLUTION: A combustion chamber 4 has combustion flues 12 each provided with a fuel gas supply port 11. The combustion chamber 4 has a combustion gas passage 13 formed between the combustion flues 12 and an upper wall of the combustion chamber 4. When combustion gas generated by combustion of fuel gas supplied from the fuel gas supply ports 11 is moved to the combustion gas passage 13, the temperature on the lower side of the combustion chamber 4 in the combustion flues 12 and the temperature on the upper side of the combustion chamber 4 in the combustion gas passage 13 are measured. Gas in the combustion gas passage 13 is heated by heating means 15 installed in the combustion gas passage 13.</p> |
