PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an increase in circuit scale which is incurred because an operation mode is selected from determination results regarding decoding failure, motion vector prediction, etc., before switching an operation from one to another.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: an image generation unit 1 for generating a frame image; a mode switchover determination unit 2 for determining the operation mode of a frame image; a memory control unit 3 for writing or reading the frame image to and from memory; an image processing unit 6 for performing image processing and outputting from the frame image read out by the memory control unit 3 in accordance with the operation mode; and a partial reconfiguration control unit 7 for controlling, on the basis of the mode switchover determination unit 2, some circuit of the memory control unit 3 so as to be partially reconfigurable. |
