PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel heat-resistant keratinase enzyme having activity in wide conditions.SOLUTION: This invention provides a keratinase enzyme comprising a specific amino acid sequence, obtained from Brevibacillus bacteria, and a DNA encoding the same, and a method of producing the keratinase. This invention further provides a keratin decomposing composition comprising the keratinase enzyme, and a keratin decomposition treatment method. |
