PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire harness and a terminal, which can surely make a conductive wire flow outward from a center of a cross section of a crimping portion and make a contact area between the conductive wire and the crimping portion be large to securely break an oxide coating of an aluminum conductive wire.SOLUTION: A terminal 1 is used in which serrations 13 are radially arranged on an inner peripheral surface 57 of a conductive wire crimping portion 7 from a crimping start-planned portion 15 located on a base portion 17 in the vicinity of the center of a longitudinal direction. A coated conductive wire 23 is inserted into a tubular crimping portion 5 and a conductive wire 25 of the coated conductive wire 23 is arranged in the conductive wire crimping portion 7. Next, the crimping portion 5 is placed on a lower crimping blade die 31, and an upper crimping blade die 33 and the lower crimping blade die 31 pinch the crimping portion 5 and make the crimping portion 5 be deformed into a U-shape to crimp the conductive wire 25. Crimping proceeds in a plurality of directions of a longitudinal direction from the crimping start-planned portion 15 of the conductive wire crimping portion 7, and the conductive wire 25 flows from a central portion 35 of a circumferential direction section of the conductive crimping portion 7 to a side portion 37 along with progress of crimping. |
