PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled transporting device without fear of theft and without need for a user to look backward and confirm safety.SOLUTION: A self-propelled transporting device 100 detects motion of a user in a state non-contacting with the user in the front of the user, and propels at the front of the user according to walking of the user on the basis of detected output.
