PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an unnecessary flow of an adhesive for fixing a suspension wire.SOLUTION: An objective lens driving device comprises: a holder for holding an objective lens; a coil for displacing the holder; and a suspension wire having one end connected with one end of the coil by solder, for supporting the holder so that the holder is displaced in a focus direction or a tracking direction. The holder includes: a first projection piece 34A projecting from the holder so that one end 411 of the coil and one end of the suspension wire 24A are supported; a second projection piece 52 projecting from the holder so that the suspension wire is inserted therethrough, at a position distant from the first projection piece in a longitudinal direction of the suspension wire; and a prevention part 51 provided between the first projection piece and the second projection piece, for preventing an adhesive 56 applied to a surface on the first projection piece side in the second projection piece so that the suspension wire is fixed to the second projection piece from flowing toward the first projection piece by a predetermined distance or more. |
