PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a circuit scale of load drive apparatus.SOLUTION: Provided are the load drive apparatus including: a plurality of capacity elements that are charged with energy from a power supply and discharge energy to a load; and a switch part that conducts between the power source and each of the plurality of capacity elements and provides each of the capacity elements with a current limited to a predetermined current value or less when charging the plurality of capacity elements, and drives the load by coupling the plurality of capacity elements in series when the plurality of capacity elements discharge, and the load drive method associated with the same.
