PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear expansion coefficient test method which can easily obtain a linear expansion coefficient by conducting a test simulating a thermal environment inside mass concrete.SOLUTION: A plurality of test pieces 2 each of which is formed by placing a hardened cement paste 20 in a lightweight frame 24 are arranged inside an adiabatic curing container formed of a heat insulating material. A thermometer 23 and a strain meter 21 are buried in the hardened cement paste 20 of at least one of the test pieces 2, so that a temporal change of temperature and the amount of strain due to hydration heat generated inside the hardened cement paste 20 is measured. A linear expansion coefficient of the hardened cement paste 20 is obtained from the measured temporal change of the temperature and the amount of strain. |
