PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferritic stainless steel sheet less in rust formation, capable of suppressing generation of a water soluble sulfide based nonmetallic inclusion, such as CaS, forming a starting point of the rust formation.SOLUTION: The ferritic stainless steel has a [S] concentration of 0.0002 to 0.0030%, a [Al] concentration of 0.004-0.020%, a [Ca] concentration of 0.0020% or less and T.[O] concentration of 0.007% or less in the steel and satisfies a formula {[Ca]×[S]×10≤2.68-0.563×[Al]/T.[O]}. The number of inclusions having a grain size of 5 μm or more is one/mmor less. |
