PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pH measurement electrode which can be downsized and uses an antimony electrode as a working electrode.SOLUTION: The pH measurement electrode is composed of an antimony electrode as a working electrode and an Ag/AgIOmixed electrode as a reference electrode. The pH measurement electrode is composed of the working electrode made of a metal antimony whose surface is covered by antimony trioxide and a reference electrode made from the mixed layer (Ag/AgIOmixed layer) which is formed in the working electrode surface via an insulator. The Ag/AgIOmixed layer is deposited on a metal antimony core material surface by a sputtering deposition method.
