PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge mechanism of a medium which performs stable medium transportation according to the type and characteristics of the medium by a simple structure.SOLUTION: A discharge mechanism of a medium includes: a first roll member; multiple second roll members 200 provided at the first roll member; and attachment members 300 which pivotally support the second roll members 200. Each attachment member 300 is composed of: a cover part which covers a peripheral surface of the second roll member 200; and an adjusting groove 320 which supports a support shaft 240 of the second roll member 200 and stabilizes discharge of the medium. The second roll member 200 includes a contact part 230 having a protruding periphery and facing the first roll member. The support shaft 240 is disposed at the inner side relative to the contact part 230.
