PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor prevented in deterioration of insulation resistance and deterioration of reliability, and a method of manufacturing the multilayer ceramic capacitor.SOLUTION: The multilayer ceramic capacitor includes: a ceramic body having a plurality of dielectric layers laminated therein; an active layer including a plurality of first and second internal electrodes formed to be alternately exposed through both end surfaces of the ceramic body; upper and lower cover layers formed above and below the active layer, respectively; first and second external electrodes formed on both end surfaces of the ceramic body, respectively; a plurality of first and second dummy patterns formed by being extended from the first and second external electrodes into margin portions of the active layer in a length direction so as to oppose the first and second inner electrodes, respectively; and a plurality of first and second dummy electrodes extended into the inner side of the upper and lower cover layers from the first and second external electrodes, respectively, and formed to oppose each other in a length direction in the upper and lower cover layers. |
