PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact type information-processing apparatus which can be comparatively minimized and can suppress a reduction in the intensity of a magnetic field generated by a communication antenna.SOLUTION: A noncontact type information processing apparatus 1 which performs a communication of information with a card-shaped medium includes: a plate-shaped substrate 2 mounted with an annularly formed communication antenna 6 and a signal processing circuit part 7 to which the communication antenna 6 is electrically connected; and connector members 3, 4 for electrically connecting a host device mounted with the noncontact type information-processing apparatus 1 and the noncontact type information-processing apparatus 1. A signal processing circuit part 7 is mounted on the substrate 2 at the outer peripheral side beyond the annularly formed communication antenna 6. The connector members 3, 4 are mounted on the substrate 2 so that an insertion direction of a second connector member which is inserted and connected to the connector members 3, 4 becomes substantially parallel to a thickness direction of the substrate 2. |
