<p>This electrolysis cell (1), intended to be used to produce aluminium by electrolysis, comprises: (i) a tank (2) equipped with a bottom wall (2a) and a side wall (2b); (ii) a cathode (10) placed on the bottom wall (2a); (iii) means for conducting electricity, connected to the cathode (10) and arranged to convey the electrolysis current from one electrolysis cell (1) to another. In addition, the means for conducting electricity pass through the side wall (2b) of the tank (2) at a height in a zone lying between the upper face of the cathode (10) and the upper edge of the side wall (2b) of the tank (2).</p> |
