A touch point recognition method of a touch screen according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: letting the palm touch one side of the screen and sensing a palm area from the other side of the screen; extracting finger touch regions from the sensed palm area using a band pass filter; extracting a finger region from the palm area using an image processing filter; extracting a palm center region from the palm area using a low pass filter; grouping the finger touch regions based on the finger region; and recognizing a finger touch region, being far away from the center region in one group of the finger touch regions, as a real touch region.
