PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapered roller bearing which can be easily assembled without involving an increase in the manufacturing cost thereof.SOLUTION: A tapered roller bearing 1 according to the present invention includes: an inner ring 10 including a conical inner ring raceway surface 11 formed on an outer circumferential surface of the inner ring and a small rib 13 on a small-diameter-side thereof; an outer ring 40 including a conical outer ring raceway surface 41 formed on an inner circumferential surface of the outer ring; a plurality of conical rollers 30 rollably arranged in the circumferential direction between the inner ring raceway surface 11 and the outer ring raceway surface 41; and a cage 20 retaining the conical rollers 30 by a plurality of pockets which are formed between: large-diameter-side annular part 22 and a small-diameter-side annular part 23 that are arranged side by side in the axial direction; and a plurality of cage bar parts 24 axially coupling the large-diameter-side annular part 22 and the small-diameter-side annular part 23, and which are arranged at a substantially equal interval in the circumferential direction. The value of a ratio of a section modulus of the small-diameter-side annular part 23 to a section modulus of the large-diameter-side annular part 22 of the cage 20 is 0.5 to 1.5. |
