PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device and a method for fabricating the same, for maximizing the luminous efficiency.SOLUTION: A light emitting device 100 comprises a cavity 112 and one or more light emitting elements 120. The cavity is formed to have a depth of 450 μm or less, and the light emitting elements are installed in the cavity 112. A method of fabricating the light emitting device 100 includes forming a package body 110 having a cavity 112 with a depth of 250 μm to 450 μm and at least one lead frame 130 disposed at the bottom surface of the cavity 112, mounting at least one light emitting element 120 on the lead frame 130, and molding a molding member 140 in the cavity 112. |
