<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure reliability of a screen.SOLUTION: A display unit includes: a pixel array unit in which pixels including an electro-optical element, a drive transistor driving the electro-optical element, and including a write transistor connected between a signal line and a gate electrode of the drive transistor and composed by series connecting a plurality of transistor elements, are arranged in matrix; and a drive circuit unit driving each of the pixels of the pixel array unit. After signal writing is performed by the write transistor, a potential of an intermediate node of the plurality of transistor elements composing the write transistor is regarded as a midpoint potential between a potential of the signal line and a potential of the gate electrode of the drive transistor. The invention may for example be applied to an organic EL display unit.</p> |
